1. Try the Langkawi cable car and enjoy in the sunset
One of the most interesting thing to do in Langkawi is to ride a cable car. This cable car will take you to 2300 feet high, and will take you to the air above the wonderful sea. Enjoy the sunset if you ride the cable car in the evenings. The highest point of the top station is on 708 meters, where you can have a clear view on Indonesia whilst a clear day.

2. Visit and enjoy Escape Langkawi
This place is actually the Royal Yacht Club, and the festive period around New Years’s Eve is the best! Namely, there is a celebration lasting 2 days where you can enjoy to your fullest, surrounded to your friends and family. The music is really up-to-date (sounds like you are on Ibiza) with great local and international artists. The drinks and the buffet are free, so you can just enjoy the celebration!
The time frame to be there is 8 hours, from 4 pm up to 1 am. There is a special web page where you can see all the artists and the price of the tickets.

3. The wonderful fireworks on the beach
Enjoy the fireworks on the Pantai Cenang beach. Also, there is an event of lighting sky lanterns and sending them to the sky.

4. Delicious cousine on local Dataran Chenang Bazaar
The celebration on this place is between 20th December and 1st January, where you can also shop. The celebration is mostly during the nights, whilst the mornings are quiet. Also, there can be held several events and performances. This place is opened every day, from morning up to late in the night. The address is 27A, Jalan Pantai Chenang.
5. Surreal art in the Paradise 3D museum
One of the most interesting and surreal places to visit is the Paradise 3D museum. You can freely take pictures with the 3d art, with a lot of beautiful pictures. The best one is the Egyptian theme zone. You will need at least 1 or 2 hours to see everything. The place is opened every day, from 9 am to 6 pm. The price of the tickets is RM28 for children and RM38 for adults. The address of the place is Jalan Telaga Tujuh, Langkawi.
6. Visit and enjoy wildlife in the Langkawi wildlife park & bird paradise
This wildlife park is a very interesting and fun place to be, with a huge range of animanls like ducks, owls and many other (around 150 species of birds included). The feeding of animals is approved. You can easily spent 2 to 3 hours in this park, it is opened every day from 8.30 am to 5.30.

7. Eat well then eat a bit more – at Pekan Kuah Night Market in Langkawi
If you want to experience something new in Langkawi, do not miss out this place, which is also know as ‘pasar malam’.
When spending your New Year or Christmas in Langkawi, visit this place to taste the local dishes and enjoy in diversity. The time you spend here is around 2 or 3 hours, working time are at Wednesday and Saturday, from 4 p.m. until the night hours. The address is 165, Kuah, 07000 Langkawi, Kedah.
8. The incredible sea world in Underwater world Langkawi
Are you a big fan of the sea world? Visit the Underwater World in your places-to-visit list. Also, you can feed the seals and penguins, of course, with prior notice of the employees.
The most interesting part of this park is the underwater tunnel going 15 meters. You will enjoy the turtles,stingrays and sharks. There you will easily spend 3 hours, during the working hours – from 10 am to 6 pm (every day).

9. Touring in Kilim Geopark to sightseeing Mangroves
There are wonderful limestone forests to visit with great landscapes, eagles caves and the fish farm. The place is opened from 8.30 am to 5 pm. Tickets are RM100 for children and RM120 for adults.
10. Visit Bar Hopping at Chenang
The most interesting are Yellow Beach Café, Kalut Bar, One Love and many others, for solo or couples, from sunset to late night.
